• Lips should be moisturized several days prior to the appointment.
• You should feel well and not be sick.
• There should be no wounds or breakouts in the lip area.
What is important to know after the procedure
• Swelling may occur immediately after the procedure.
• Lips will appear 40-60% brighter immediately after the procedure compared to after healing.
• Cold sores may appear on the lips (this is a normal reaction to trauma! No need to panic, as the permanent makeup can temporarily lower local immunity).
• Crusts may form on days 2-4.
• UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU PICK AT THE CRUSTS.
• Avoid visiting saunas, tanning beds, steam rooms, or swimming in open water for two weeks.
• The final color will become clear within 4-6 weeks. Do not judge the results as the final outcome before that.
• Strictly follow the instructions provided to you after the procedure for excellent results.
